Inspection Flow
- CONFIRM AUTO MODE OPERATION
- Press the AUTO switch.
- Display should indicate AUTO. (Discharge air and blower speed will depend on ambient, in-vehicle and set temperatures.)
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: GO TO 3.
- PERFORM COMPLETE OPERATIONAL CHECK (FRONT)
Perform a complete operational check and check for any symptoms. Refer to "OPERATIONAL CHECK (FRONT) ".
Can a symptom be duplicated?
YES: Refer to "SYMPTOM TABLE ".
NO: System OK.
- CHECK FOR SERVICE BULLETINS
Check for any service bulletins.
Have any service bulletins been issued?
YES: Refer to appropriate service bulletin.
NO: GO TO 4.
- CHECK POWER AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check main power supply and ground circuit. Refer to "DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE FOR A/C SYSTEM ".
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 5.
NG: Refer to "POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT FOR FRONT AIR CONTROL ".
- CHECK AMBIENT SENSOR CIRCUIT
Check ambient sensor circuit. Refer to "AMBIENT SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT ".
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 6.
NG: Repair or replace as necessary.
- CHECK IN-VEHICLE SENSOR CIRCUIT
Check in-vehicle sensor circuit. Refer to "IN-VEHICLE SENSOR CIRCUIT ".
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 7.
NG: Repair or replace as necessary.
- CHECK OPTICAL SENSOR CIRCUIT
Check optical sensor circuit. Refer to "OPTICAL SENSOR CIRCUIT ".
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 8.
NG: Repair or replace as necessary.
- CHECK INTAKE SENSOR CIRCUIT
Check intake sensor circuit. Refer to "INTAKE SENSOR CIRCUIT ".
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 9.
NG: Repair or replace as necessary.
- CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTORS PBR CIRCUIT
Check air mix door motors PBR circuit. Refer to "AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR CIRCUIT ".
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 10.
NG: Repair or replace as necessary.
- RECHECK FOR SYMPTOMS
Perform a complete operational check for any symptoms. Refer to "OPERATIONAL CHECK (FRONT) ".
Does another symptom exist?
YES: Refer to "SYMPTOM TABLE ".
NO: Replace front air control. Refer to "FRONT AIR CONTROL ".
