Removal (For Deployment Only)

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove appropriate front seat.
- Remove seat back cover and seat back pad. Remove side impact air bag module harness clips. Remove nuts securing side impact air bag module to seat back frame. See Figure . Remove side impact air bag module.
