Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the rear wiper motor assembly. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  2. Disconnect the rear defroster electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the back door top garnish assembly. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  4. Remove the glass hatch stays.
  5. CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to scratch the glass when removing.
    • Do not set or stand the glass on its edge. Small chips may develop into cracks.

    Remove the glass hatch assembly.
