Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION: Before servicing, turn the ignition switch off, disconnect both battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes.
  1. Disconnect both the negative and positive battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes.
  2. Remove front pillar upper finishers. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  3. Remove the center console. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  4. Remove the combination meter. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  5. Remove optical sensor. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  6. Remove AV control unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (BASE AUDIO), "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (MID AUDIO), "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (BOSE AUDIO WITHOUT NAVIGATION) or "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (BOSE AUDIO WITH NAVIGATION).
  7. Remove display unit (if equipped). Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (MID AUDIO), "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (BOSE AUDIO WITHOUT NAVIGATION) or "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (BOSE AUDIO WITH NAVIGATION).
  8. Remove cluster lid D. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  9. Disconnect GPS antenna (if equipped).
  10. Remove the passenger air bag module. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  11. Remove the instrument stay RH/LH bolts.
  12. Disconnect all remaining harnesses and connectors.
  13. Remove instrument panel and pad assembly.
