Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK UNLOCK SENSOR POWER SUPPLY

Check signal between BCM connector and ground with oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 6

NO: GO TO 2

CHECK UNLOCK SENSOR CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM and front door lock assembly LH connector.

Check continuity between BCM connector and front door lock assembly LH connector.

CONTINUITY CHART

A: M18	27	B: D10	3	Yes

Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 3

NO: Repair or replace harness between BCM and front door lock assembly LH.

CHECK UNLOCK SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between front door lock assembly LH connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 4

NO: Repair or replace harness.

CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL

Connect BCM harness connector.
Check signal between BCM connector and ground with oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 5

NO: Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION "

CHECK UNLOCK SENSOR
Refer to "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 6

NO: Replace front door lock assembly LH. Refer to "FRONT DOOR LOCK: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".

Inspection End.
