Removal and Installation of Brake Pads: Removal

  1. Remove front wheel and tire. Refer to "ADJUSTMENT ".
  2. Remove upper and lower sliding pin bolts (2) without disconnecting the union bolt (1).

  3. Hang cylinder body with a wire, and do not twist or stretch the brake hose.
  4. Remove anti-rattle clips, pads, shims, and shim covers from torque member.
