Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Drain coolant. Refer to "CHANGING ENGINE COOLANT ".
  2. Remove battery. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (BATTERY) ".
  3. Remove transmission control module (TCM). Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  4. Remove ECM and bracket.
  5. Remove battery tray. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (BATTERY TRAY) ".
  6. Remove front air duct. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  7. Disconnect radiator upper hose and lower hose.
  8. Remove front bumper fascia. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  9. Remove A/C condenser. Refer to "CONDENSER: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION FOR CONDENSER ".
  10. Disconnect the CVT oil cooler hoses. Plug the hoses to prevent CVT oil loss.
  11. Remove radiator.
CAUTION:
  • Do not damage or scratch the radiator core when removing.
