Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
  2. Remove the driver air bag module. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
  3. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  4. Remove the column cover. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
  5. Remove the vehicle harness connector (C) and (D) from paddle shifter.

    A: Side of paddle shifter (shift-down)

    B: Side of paddle shifter (shift-up)

  6. Remove the paddle shifter bolts (E) and nuts (F).
  7. Remove the paddle shifter from the steering column assembly.
