Front Brake Caliper: Installation

CAUTION: When installing the caliper assembly in the vehicle, wipe oil from the seating surface of the knuckle spindle washer and the mounting surface of the caliper assembly. The copper washer of the connecting bolt has to be replaced every time the fitting is disconnected. Correctly attach the brake hose to the projecting portion of the cylinder body.

To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten caliper mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Bleed hydraulic system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
