Rear Brake Pads: Installation

  1. Clean area around pin bolts and piston boot. DO NOT damage piston boot. Retract piston into cylinder body by turning it clockwise. Apply silicone brake grease to caliper sliding surfaces and pad contact areas on mounting support.
  2. Install pads, aligning piston concave to pad convex. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
