Front Door Key Cylinder Switch LH Check (With left and right front power window anti-pinch system)

With CONSULT-II

Check front door key cylinder switch ("KEY CYL LK-SW", "KEY CYL UN-SW(" in DATA MONITOR mode in CONSULT-II. Refer to , "DATA MONITOR  ".

• When key inserted in front key cylinder is turned to LOCK:

  KEY CYL LK-SW : ON 

• When key inserted in front key cylinder is turned to UNLOCK:

  KEY CYL UN-SW : ON

OK or NG? 

1. OK: System is OK.
2. NG: GO TO 2.

Check continuity between front door key cylinder switch LH connector 50 terminal 3 (B) and body ground.

OK or NG? 

1. OK: GO TO 3.
2. NG: Repair or replace harness.

Check continuity between door key cylinder switch LH connector terminals.

OK or NG? 

1. OK: GO TO 4.
2. NG: Replace front door key cylinder switch LH.

Check continuity between main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector D7 terminals 4(P/L), 5(W/L) and front door key cylinder switch LH connector D50 terminals 1(L), 2(Y) and body ground.

OK or NG? 

1. OK: Replace main power window and door lock/unlock switch.
2. NG: Repair or replace harness.
