17. A/T Does Not Shift: D4 --> 33, When A/T Selector Lever D --> 3

SYMPTOM:

A/T does not shift from D ₄ to 3 ₃ when changing A/T selector lever from D --> 3 position.

CHECK 3 POSITION SWITCH CIRCUIT
With CONSULT-II

Does "TCM INPUT SIGNALS" in "DATA MONITOR" show damage to 3 position switch circuit?

Without CONSULT-II

Does self-diagnosis show damage to 3 position switch circuit?

Yes or No
1. Yes: Check 3 position switch circuit. Refer to "DTC P0705 PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ".
2. No: Go to "10. A/T DOES NOT SHIFT: D2 --> D3 ".
