3. Cruise Test

With CONSULT-II 

CONSULT-II Setting Procedure 

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Connect CONSULT-II to Data link connector which is located in left side lower dash panel.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON.
  4. Touch START. See Figure.
  5. Touch A/T. See Figure.
  6. Touch DATA MONITOR. See Figure.
  7. Touch MAIN SIGNALS or TCM INPUT SIGNALS.

  8. See Numerical Display , Barchart Display or Line Graph Display.
  9. Touch SETTING to recording condition ( AUTO TRIG or MANU TRIG) and touch BACK.

  10. Touch START.

  11. When performing cruise test, touch RECORD.
  12. After finishing cruise test part 1, touch STOP.

  13. Touch STORE and touch BACK.

  14. Touch DISPLAY.

  15. Touch PRINT.
  16. Check the monitor data printed out.
  17. Continue cruise test part 2 and 3.

    Without CONSULT-II 

    • Throttle position sensor can be checked by voltage across terminals 41 and 42 of TCM.
