Driver-Side Air Bag Module & Spiral Cable: Installation

- Ensure front wheels are in straight-ahead position. Ensure spiral cable is in neutral position. See SPIRAL CABLE under ADJUSTMENTS. Align turn signal cancel tab with notch of combination switch. Install spiral cable and tighten screws. Connect spiral cable electrical connector. Install steering column covers.
- Install steering wheel, aligning spiral cable pin guides with holes in steering wheel. Connect horn connector. Tighten steering wheel nut. On models with ASCD switch, install switch. On all models, install air bag module. Use NEW Torx or hex-head bolts. Tighten bolts and nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect air bag module connector. Install side and lower covers. Activate air bag system.
