Possible Causes

ECM illuminates MIL and sets DTC P1111 (Bank 1) or P1136 (Bank 2) when an improper voltage is sent to ECM through IVTC solenoid valve. Possible causes are:
- IVTC solenoid valve circuit open or shorted.
- Poor, loose, corroded or damaged terminal connections.
- Faulty IVTC solenoid valve.
