Possible Causes

ECM illuminates MIL and sets DTC P0335 when CKP sensor signal is not detected by ECM during first few seconds of engine cranking or 1° signal (pulse ) from CKP sensor is not sent to ECM while engine is running.
Possible causes are:
- CKP sensor circuit open or shorted.
- Poor, loose, corroded or damaged terminal connections.
- Defective CKP sensor (POS).
- Defective signal plate.
- Defect in starter system.
