Shift Solenoid Valves "A" & "B"

The TCM activates shift solenoid valves according to signals from TP sensor and revolution sensor. Optimum gear position is selected following memorized shift schedule. When solenoid valve is commanded on, drain circuit closes and pilot pressure is applied to shift valve. See Fig 1. For shift solenoid valve operation, see SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE OPERATION  table.
