Vehicle Speed Sensor/MTR

Measure voltage (backprobe) between TCM harness connector terminal No. 40 and ground while driving 1-2 MPH for 3 feet or more. Voltage should vary from 0-5 volts. If voltage is not as specified, check for continuity in wiring harness between TCM and speed sensor. Inspect ground circuit. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
