Engine Revolution Signal Circuit (Tach Signal)

Start engine and idle. Measure voltage (backprobe) between TCM terminal No. 39 and ground. Voltage should vary from .5-1.5 volt. If voltage is within specification, recheck applicable TCM input/output signals. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . If any voltage measured is not as specified, check TCM connector terminals for damage or loose connection to harness connector. Repair as necessary.
