WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2002 Nissan Xterra, 2002 Nissan Sentra, 2002 Nissan Quest, 2002 Nissan Pathfinder, and 2002 Nissan Maxima. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Two types of relays are used: 4-terminal and 6-terminal. For relay location, see ECM & FUEL PUMP RELAY LOCATIONS table. Remove appropriate relay. Apply battery voltage and ground to terminals No. 1 and 2. See Figure and Figure .
- On 4-pin relays, continuity should exist between terminals No. 3 and 5. On 6-terminal relays, continuity should exist between terminals No. 3, 5, 6 and 7. On all relays, when battery voltage is removed, continuity should not exist. Replace relay, if test values are not as specified.
