3. Check Engine Brake

Does engine braking effectively reduce speed in M1 position? 

  1. Yes :
    1. Stop the vehicle.
    2. Perform the self-diagnostics. Refer to "SELF-DIAG RESULT MODE ", Diagnostic Procedure Without Consult-II .
  2. No : Enter a check mark at "Vehicle does not decelerate by engine brake" on the diagnostics worksheet, then continue trouble diagnosis.
