2. Check Shift Up And Shift Down (D To D )

- Release accelerator pedal and then quickly depress it fully.
- Does A/T shift from D4
to D2
as soon as accelerator pedal is depressed fully?
Read gear position and throttle opening.
Yes or No
- Yes >> GO TO 3.
- No >> Mark the box of "A/T Does Not Shift: D1 --> D2 Or Does Not Kickdown: D4 --> D2 " on the DIAGNOSTIC WORKSHEET. Continue ROAD TEST.
