Camshaft Runout

Put the camshaft on a V-block supporting the No. 2 and No. 5 journals.
Set the dial gauge vertically on the No. 3 journal.
Turn camshaft in one direction by hand, and measure the camshaft runout on the dial gauge total indicator reading.
1. Standard :Less than 0.04 mm (0.0016 in)
