DTC Confirmation Test "A"

Malfunction "A" is detected when Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure (MAP/BARO) solenoid is energized when it has not been energized by ECM. Possible causes are:

To set DTC, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select DATA MONITOR. Wait at least 10 seconds. If first trip DTC is detected, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE "A" .
