Diagnostic Procedure

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Perform DTC CONFIRMATION TEST  again. If first trip DTC set, Replace ECM. Program ECM. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article. If first trip DTC is not set, test is complete.
