DTC Confirmation Test (DTC P0115)

Malfunction is detected when ECM receives an excessively low or high voltage from ECT sensor. Possible causes are:
- ECT sensor circuit open or shorted.
- Defective ECT sensor.
To set DTC, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select DATA MONITOR. Wait 5 seconds. If first trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
