DTC Confirmation Test "C" (Overall Function Check)

NOTE: Use the following test to check overall function of AP sensor circuit. During this test, first trip DTC may not be confirmed.

Malfunction "C" is detected when ECM detects a low voltage from AP sensor under heavy-load driving conditions. Possible cause is; defective AP sensor.

To check overall function of AP sensor circuit, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read AP sensor signal. If AP sensor signal is not more than 6.7 psi (46 kPa), perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE "A" .
