DTC Confirmation Test "B"

Malfunction "B" is detected when ECM detects a high voltage from AP sensor under light-load driving conditions. Possible causes are:
- Hoses between AP sensor and intake manifold are disconnected or plugged.
- Intake air leaks.
- Defective Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure (MAP/BARO) solenoid.
- Defective AP sensor.
To set DTC, start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Turn ignition off and wait at least 5 seconds. Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR with scan tool. Start engine and let it idle. Wait at least 15 seconds. If first trip DTC is detected, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE "B" .
