DTC Confirmation Test "C"

Malfunction "C" is detected when ECM receives a high voltage from MAF sensor under light-load driving conditions. Possible causes are:
- MAF sensor circuit open or shorted.
- Defective MAF sensor.
To set DTC, turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR with scan tool. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Let engine idle for at least 10 seconds. If engine stalls or will not start, leave ignition on without starting engine for at least 10 seconds. If first trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
