Fail-Safe Mode

When DTC P0102 is detected, ECM will enter fail-safe mode. Engine speed will not rise more than 2400 RPM due to fuel cut.

NOTE: If DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, always turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before performing the next test.
NOTE: Perform appropriate DTC confirmation test according to DTC. See Figure . If DTC P0101 is detected, perform DTC CONFIRMATION TEST "C"  first. If 1st trip DTC is not detected, perform DTC CONFIRMATION TEST "D"  .
