Corrective Action

  1. If malfunction is indicated by AIR BAG warning light operating in USER mode, check battery voltage. If battery voltage is less than 9 volts, charge battery and go to FINAL CHECK  under DIAGNOSTICS. If battery voltage is more than 9 volts and this is first time for air bag system service, go to RETRIEVING CODES  under DIAGNOSTICS.
  2. If battery voltage is more than 9 volts and this is not first time for air bag system service, go to FINAL CHECK  under DIAGNOSTICS. If no malfunction is indicated by AIR BAG warning light, no malfunction is detected and no corrective action necessary. Go to FINAL CHECK  under DIAGNOSTICS.
