Without Consult Tester

- After system is repaired, connect both battery cables. Turn ignition switch to ON position. AIR BAG warning light will operate in DIAGNOSIS mode.
- If AIR BAG warning light comes ON for 7 seconds and then repeats a pattern of 2 seconds OFF and 3 seconds ON, no malfunction has been detected. If AIR BAG warning light functions other than described, condition still exists or another malfunction has been detected. See FAULT CODES (DRIVER-SIDE OR PASSENGER-SIDE) and FAULT CODES (SIDE) .
- To switch from DIAGNOSIS MODE to USER mode, turn ignition on. After AIR BAG warning light has been on for 7 seconds, turn ignition switch off within one second. Wait at least 3 seconds. Repeat this procedure 2 more times. Turn ignition switch on. System will return to USER mode.
