Without Consult Tester

  1. After system is repaired, connect both battery cables. Turn ignition on. AIR BAG warning light will operate in DIAGNOSIS MODE.
  2. If AIR BAG warning light comes on for 7 seconds, goes OFF for 2 seconds, ON for 3 seconds, then repeats the flashing sequence, no malfunction is detected and repair is complete. If AIR BAG warning light performs other than described, a malfunction has been detected. See FAULT CODES (DRIVER-SIDE OR PASSENGER-SIDE)  and FAULT CODES (SIDE)  .
