Air Bag Warning Light Does Not Come On

- Check METER fuse, located in fuse block in lower left side of instrument panel. If fuse is bad, go to next step. If fuse is okay, go to step 3 .
- Replace METER fuse. Turn ignition on, then off. If fuse blows, repair short to ground in wire harness. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If fuse does not blow, system is normal at this time.
- Disconnect diagnosis sensor unit connector. See DIAGNOSIS SENSOR UNIT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn ignition on. If AIR BAG warning light illuminates, replace diagnosis sensor unit. If AIR BAG warning light does not illuminate, inspect ground circuit of AIR BAG warning light. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
