Removal (2WD Vehicles)

- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Disconnect ABS wheel sensor connector. Remove brake caliper bolts, and wire caliper out of way. Remove wheel bearing lock nut. See Figure . Remove tie rod end cotter pin and stud nut. Remove tie rod end using Remover (ST29020001).
- Remove knuckle-to-strut bolts. Support transverse link with floor jack or jackstand. Remove ball joint-to-knuckle nut. Separate knuckle from lower ball joint. Remove knuckle from transverse link.
