Front Axle Shaft: Inspection

- Thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning solvent, and dry with compressed air. Check for deformation or damage. Replace axle shaft if twisted or cracked. Inspect boot for fatigue, cracks or wear.
- Inspect inner joint for signs of scorching, rust, wear or excessive play. Inspect splines for deformation or damage. Inspect slide joint housing for any damage. Inspect outer joint assembly for deformation or damage. Replace parts as necessary.
