Rear Axle Shaft Bearing & Oil Seal: Inspection

Check axle shaft for straightness, cracks, damage, wear and distortion. Replace if necessary. Ensure wheel bearing rolls freely and is free from noise, cracks, pitting and wear. Check axle case for yield, deformation and cracks. Replace if necessary.
