Front Brake Pads: Removal

- Raise and support front of vehicle. Remove master cylinder reservoir cap. Remove pin bolt, using power tool. Rotate cylinder body upward.
- Suspend the cylinder body with wire. Remove pads with retainers, inner and outer shims and pad return springs. Note pad condition and location for proper installation (if reusable). Standard thickness is 0.43 in. (11 mm) and minimum pad thickness is 0.08 in. (2.0 mm) for all models.
