Sensor Spring Adjustment (2002 Models)

Park vehicle on a level surface with vehicle unloaded. Fuel, radiator coolant and engine oil full. Spare tire, jack, hand tools and mats in designated positions. Reference measurement "L" is 8.56 in. (217.3 mm). Press a lever to the stopper bolt, then adjust length "B" as follows. If length "B" is not within specification, 8.18 in. (207.7 mm), adjust sensor spring length. See Fig 1 .
