Diagnosis Procedure A/C and AV Switch Assembly

CHECK A/C AND AV SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH) CIRCUIT
Operate the rear window defogger switch.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: Inspection End.

NO: GO TO 2

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM and A/C and AV switch assembly.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector M18 (A) terminal 9 and A/C and AV switch assembly harness connector M98 (B) terminal 16.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector M18 (A) terminal 9 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: Replace A/C and AV switch assembly. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

NO: Repair or replace harness.
