System Composition

The immobilizer function of the NVIS (NATS) consists of the following:
- Mechanical key (built into Intelligent Key)
- FATS antenna amp. located in the ignition key cylinder
- Body control module (BCM)
- Engine control module (ECM)
- Security indicator
- Steering lock solenoid
- Intelligent Key unit
NOTE:
Communication between ECM, BCM and Intelligent Key unit uses the CAN communication system.
