Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the intake manifold collector (upper) using power tool. Remove gasket and the electric throttle control actuator. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  2. Remove the six ignition coils. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  3. Remove the two intake valve timing control solenoid valves and gaskets. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION "
  4. Remove RH and LH rocker covers from cylinder head.
    • Follow the loosening sequence for each side rocker cover bolts as shown.
