Air Bag Warning Light Is Flashing

Observe AIR BAG warning light. If it flashes every one-half second, a fault has been detected. Use AIR BAG warning light or CONSULT tester to check for codes. Go to RETRIEVING CODES under DIAGNOSTICS. If AIR BAG warning light flashes a repeating pattern of 3 seconds ON and 2 seconds OFF, a current or previous malfunction has been detected in air bag system. Codes must be retrieved using CONSULT tester. Go to RETRIEVING CODES under DIAGNOSTICS.
