Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
- Before servicing the SRS, turn the ignition switch off, disconnect both battery cables and wait at least 3 minutes.
- Disconnect the negative and positive battery cables, then wait at least 3 minutes.
- Remove crash zone sensor nuts and shield from support member.
- Disconnect the crash zone sensor harness connector.
- Remove crash zone sensor.
CAUTION:
- Replace crash zone sensor if it has been dropped or sustained an impact.
- Do not disassemble crash zone sensor.
