DTC Confirmation Procedure

DTC will set when the current amperage in the Air/Fuel ratio (A/F) sensor (sensor 1) heater circuit is out of the normal range. (An improper voltage drop signal is sent to ECM through the front heated oxygen sensor heater). Possible causes are:
- Air/Fuel ratio (A/F) sensor (sensor 1) heater circuit is open or shorted.
- Defective Air/Fuel ratio (A/F) sensor (sensor 1) heater.
