DTC Confirmation Test

Malfunction is detected when PCM receives an excessively low or high voltage from BARO sensor. Possible causes are:
- BARO sensor circuit open or shorted.
- Defective BARO sensor.
Connect Scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select DATA MONITOR. Wait at least 10 seconds. If a first trip DTC is retrieved, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If DTC is not set, problem may be intermittent. See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
