DTC Confirmation Test "B" & "E"

Malfunction is detected when PCM receives an excessively low voltage from MAF sensor or voltage is constantly one volt, when engine is running. PCM will enter fail-safe mode. Possible causes are:
- MAF sensor circuit open or shorted.
- Intake air leaks.
- Defective MAF sensor.
Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select DATA MONITOR. Start engine and wait no more than 5 seconds. Turn ignition off and wait at least 5 seconds. If a first trip DTC is retrieved, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If first trip DTC is not retrieved, go to next DTC confirmation test.
