Removal & Installation

  1. Remove engine cover.
  2. Remove air duct with air cleaner assembly.
  3. Disconnect ignition coil harness connectors and harness brackets around ignition coil sides.
  4. Remove electronic throttle control actuator (when removing No. 4 cylinder spark plug only). See ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL ACTUATOR .
  5. Loosen ignition coil fixing bolts and pull out coil from rocker cover.
  6. Remove spark plugs.
  7. To install, reverse removal procedure.
