Removal & Installation

A Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor is installed into the front timing chain case near each intake camshaft. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS .
- Loosen the fixing bolt of the sensor.
- Disconnect camshaft position sensor (PHASE) harness connector.
- Remove the sensor.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten attaching bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
