Removal & Installation

The following procedure applies to the Neutral/Park switch or the Back-Up Lamp switch. All steps, and graphics include/apply to both components.

Locate appropriate harness connector and disconnect harness connector from switch. See Fig 1.
Remove appropriate switch from transaxle case. Be careful not to damage switch. See Fig 2.
Installation is the reverse order of removal. Tighten components to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

NOTE: Apply Anaerobic Liquid Gasket or equivalent to threads of switch.

Install switch into transaxle case. See Fig 3.
